Known as the Queen of New Zealand property and author of the best-selling book A Fabulous Failure. Her career has spanned over 25 years as board member and Director of many multinational companies both in New Zealand and the UK. In 1999 Nikki was nominated for the Veuve Cliquot UK Businesswoman of the year and shortlisted for the UK Publishing Woman of the year; Finalist in the Next Magazine businesswoman of the year award 2016. A commentator within the property investment industry, Nikki has been interviewed numerous times by the NZ Herald, Sunday Star Times and Breakfast TV. Nikki has also been a guest speaker at various seminars and conferences including Women in Leadership and NZ Property Investors Federation and spoken alongside the ANZ’s Chief Economist, Cameron Bagrie. Since Nikki’s return to New Zealand she has been working with prospective purchasers to assess their financial and social position, their long term goals and then in conjunction with their legal and accounting advisers implementing property solutions to meet those goals.

Matt has had over 30 years of experience in finance related positions, with the last 20 years spent in senior management roles, leading and guiding successful teams and businesses, within both the banking industry as well as construction. Matt moved to NZ from Australia in mid-2019 and has brought with him his extensive knowledge, skills and client minded approach which has served him so well throughout his career. Matt’s knowledge of investment property extends to being able to easily and confidently guide a client into how best to structure the property for their individual circumstances, as well as having the ability to think outside the square and recommend solutions that may not be clearly evident to the untrained eye.
Karen has been a part of Propellor Property Investments for over six years. She is very experienced and has been part of this industry for nearly 20 years. Karen has investment properties of her own and her experience incorporates a strong understanding of Property Investment and the importance of utilising Professionals to make sure her investments works for her.

Trevor joined Propellor Properties in 2011 when he returned to New Zealand after 30 years in Australia, where he worked as Sales Manager for a large property investment company. He also set up 3 Real Estate offices in Northern Brisbane before selling out to his business partner in order to return to New Zealand (just in time for the Christchurch Earthquakes). As a holder of Real Estate Licenses in Australia and New Zealand, his international experience in this industry is of immense value to Propellor clients.

Mike has been a property investor for more than 25 years, originally purchasing 3 properties, one for each of his sons. At that time companies like Propellor were not around to give advice and support; consequently, he made many mistakes that ended up costing him money. He eventually got the correct structures in place. Mike has always had an infinity with Property Investment and had the opportunity to carry this through to a career path in 2001 when he was employed by a company that sold investment properties with Housing New Zealand leases attached. Mike has only worked for three companies over this seventeen year period and firmly believes that Propellor’s model is far superior to others and has far more benefits for the client.

Property Strategist – Auckland
Phil’s career in banking and finance brings an essential dynamic to the Propellor Property Investment team. After completing an internship at his family accounting firm in Melbourne, and a stint with the Australian Taxation Office, he moved into the banking sector and has worked for two of the big five banks over the course of his career. In these aspects of his career, Phil has had significant exposure to the Property sector, allowing him to get a strong feel for what the Propellor clients will benefit from when looking at Investment Property options. In addition, Phil’s experience in the finance and lending roles in his past, coupled with his own exposure to property as an investment vehicle, make him an asset to the team at Propellor by being able to relate to the investment in property process both as an advisor as well as a client.
New Business Manager & First Home Buyer Strategist – Christchurch
Peter looks after our business to business relationships in the South Island, as well as first home buyers NZ wide. He has worked in large companies such as Trade Me and Vodafone managing commercial clients and winning awards as a top performer. Peter has a keen financial understanding and holds a level 5 certificate in financial services (will do by end of April anyways). He prides himself on helping people reach their goals and developing relationships that create success. Peter bought his first home in 2019 and is passionate about creating a strategy for others to do the same.

Kelsi joined our Auckland office after she got her master’s degree of applied management in New Zealand. She got 10 years’ work and team management experiences of Marketing, Advertising and Human Resource management in China, serving for Fortune 500 international companies. She has an experienced background with specialism in sourcing, data analysis, coaching and customer service, as well as project management. As Specialist Marketing Coordinator with a specific focus on Asian investors, she will support our Propellor team in an innovative and dynamic business and make a moving forward to the Asian Market in New Zealand.
